Essen-born artists Kristina Schloss and Geza Schon have teamed up to create a unique fragrance for Le Cabinet de Curiosités de Thomas Erber. Both are free, independent spirits. Geza left the traditional perfumery industry after years with Haarman and Reimer to explore new ways to live his art. Experimenting with Escentric Molecules he created the iconic molecule 01, the milestone in his quest for a new definition of sensuality. For the CDC 2012 (Berlin), he has chosen essences of ambergris and iris, two of the most precious yet subtle fragrances.
Kristina, now living in New Zealand, has designed the perfect bottle for Geza’s fragrance. Creating unusual and unobtrusive objects she imagined a bottle divided in three sections, with the middle part concealing the atomizer. The corpus is made of stainless steel while the plates dividing the (refillable!) bottle are in Perspex.
