Kata Legrady works and lives between Paris, Budapest and Hanover. She had many retrospectives, including at the Fondazione Mudima in 2011, and this year at Bazon Brock´s Denkerei in Berlin, Art Paris at the Grand Palais, and the Hong Kong International Art Fair to name a few.
For Le Cabinet de Curiosites de Thomas Erber, she has created an original copy of her most famous colt Governement 1911, covered with a one US Dollar note and in a unique magenta version. The sculpture is mounted on a wooden white lacquered basement.
