Aurélia Stouls studied at the best fashion design school : Esmod and Studio Berçot in Paris and the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. After designing fashion ranges, she focussed on footwear and spent the next fifteen years designing shoes for Carel, Balenciaga, Thierry Mugler, Stéphane kélian and Heschung. Aurélia’s sculptural approach, precision of line, pleasure of touch, and love affair with leather led her to start thinking about clothing, body and movement. Today she considers leather as one of life’s luxury essentials and the premise of Stouls, the revolving wardrobe of second-skin leather separates she designs in Paris, France. Her distinctive concept is leather without taboos, for pieces that you can slip on in a single movement and wash in the machine.
Conventionally designed in block colours, Aurélia offers a re-edit of three fundamental pieces from the Stouls collection in a black and gold bicolour silhouette for a racy athleticism. The soft lambskin creations include the slimline windbreaker accented by a copper zipper, full leather t-shirt and butter-soft stretch leggings.
